I've purchased 3 cars from your dealership and have had a wonderful experience so far. From the sales professional Nick Couch right through to the latest, having a collision repair on both cars I currently have. I felt it appropriate to let you know about the professional manner in which I have been treated and delt with through the 7 years I've been comming there. My experience with car dealers up untill yours has not been the greatest. I'd rather walk into a cage with hungry Tigers than a car dealership.
In 2003 I bought a Mustang Convertable. I was supprised and please with Nick and his patience with our questions. I've been very pleased with the car. I've kept up on service and now have 138,000 miles on it. Over the years I've used the service department and have not had a negative experience.
A few months later we purchased a Taurus, also from Nick. Once again a positive experience. Last year we traded it in on an Explorer Sport Track, needed something that could tow. Again a positive experience from Nick. We kept comming in looking at the cars for almost a year and through this time never felt pressure to buy before we were ready. Nick kept us informed on the cars and our options. This kind of professionalism kept us comming back instead of going elsewhere.
The Explorer ran into a mechanical problem about 3 months after we got it. It developed a cherp when whenever the motor was running. After we brought it in Kirk Goben was the man we delt with on the repair. Turns out it was the Accessory belt. This was replaced and all was quit for about 2 weeks then the chirp came back. Kirk took the car back and kept on it through the process. It did take 3-4 time returning to get the final solution. It turns out the Belt, although the correct part, had a history of this problem. Kirk researched this and found Ford had an alternative belt that fixed this problem. He kept on this problem till he had it fixed once and for all. I've never had an experience that could be so frustrating turn out to be a positive like this one.
In the past month we have had an opportunity to deal with the Collision Center. First the Explorer sport track backed into a pole and damaged the rear end. Bill Warnex in the collision center took the truck and the repair was of exceptional quality and very quick. We got it back on Wednesday afternoon. Friday evening I hit a deer with the Mustang. Once again Bill was the person delt with on the repair. The quality of the repair was very good and very quick. My thanks to Bill to getting this done so fast.
You have and exceptional bunch of folks there. I realize that in the collision center and Service center there is a whole team behind the 2 people I've delt with. I would like to let you know my pleasure to finally find a dealership that through 7 years have left a very good impression with me. Both Bill and Kirk are to be praised for thier skill and ability in dealing with people, turning unpleasent situations into positive experiences.

I rate a company by its' reaction to a situation where the customer could be ripped off and never know it. On every visit, Dick Smith Ford has been completely up front about repair needs, charges and what they do not know at the time. On this occassion, a fastener had come loose causing the air/fuel mixture to set off an engine light. They found it, tightened it and sent me home satisfied. We need more dealerships of this caliber. | |

Wade was very professional and coursious and went above and beyond to help me. He made sure I understood the sync, sirus, what happens when backing up the vehicle, and many other things on the vehicle before I lefted the grounds. They would with me to see that I could get my paper work from home, so that I could drive the Escape home that day.
